About us

Cat and kitten rescue

Every day, cats and kittens are abandoned on the streets of Cascais and Sintra, even more so now due to the crisis. Our dedicated volunteers work day and night to rescue and care for as many cats and kittens as possible.

One at a time, we find and collect abandoned cats and kittens from the streets and provide a safe and caring foster home until we find them their loving forever homes. During this time they will be loved, cared for and taken to the vet for treatment as necessary. We do not keep any animals in cages unless they are in recovery.

Thanks to our our dedicated network of local foster homes, since opening in April 2020 we have successfully rescued, fostered and found forever homes for over 100 cats and kittens.

We are 100% non-profit cat rescue charity and are funded purely by donations. Please read on to learn about what we’ve been up to.
